Cinematography

Great gear alone won’t make great pictures. A cinematographer is a carefully honed blend of artist and technician, creating motion imagery using a near limitless palette of tools and techniques. These take time and talent to master, and here, our experience shines. Cinematography relies on a visual language. Certain techniques communicate certain things. It is not enough to know what you want to say; you must know how to say it. At Vidox, we do.

Pre-Production

In the complex world of media production, success requires planning, so at Vidox we’ve learned: plan to succeed.

A list of the details considered in pre-production may seem unexciting, but those details matter. Before the cameras roll, we must compose, develop, and plan each shot. What does the shot need to accomplish? Who and what will appear before the camera? When and where will it be shot? (etc., etc., etc.,) Oh, and what, when and where will you feed four carloads of people on a tight schedule? It’s critical that we know in advance exactly what needs to happen, so that it will. We must be precise about what we need, so we’ll get it and know when we’ve got it. But relax, we fight the details so you don’t have to.
